Peace, Be Still
Repose, Release, and Restore
A quiet, quarterly offering from SOW Health created to help participants meet chronic stress with embodied strategies, steadiness, and practical care.
Orientation
Chronic stress can quietly reshape the body and mind—tightening breath, compressing attention, narrowing rest, and reducing our capacity to respond with clarity.
Peace, Be Still offers a contained weekend experience designed to interrupt that pattern and restore the conditions for calm, resilience, and self-regulation.
The Approach
This program draws on time-tested somatic and contemplative practices. The aim is not escape, but return—back to breath, sensation, and grounded awareness.
- Breath — restoring rhythm and capacity through guided breathing practices
- Shaking — releasing held tension and resetting the stress response
- Sound — using vibration and voice to open breath and settle the nervous system
- Stillness — cultivating quiet attention, rest, and internal spaciousness
- Contemplative Writing — clarifying experience and building a personal language of care
Weekend Format
Peace, Be Still is offered quarterly. Participants engage in a guided weekend sequence of practices, reflection, and integration.
Typical elements include:
